Opening up on her story of struggle in the industry and how her journey has not been an easy one, Urfi Javed says I’ve struggled a lot in my career, I’m still struggling.

Urfi ran away from her house to make a name for herself. After coming to Mumbai, she has been a part of several shows, but luck was not on her side. She has faced a lot of rejections.
Whilst talking about her entire journey, Urfi also recalled an incident wherein she had been conned and trapped by a producer who forced to do several explicit scenes for a web series and when she denied doing that, the producer literally threatened sending her to jail and also told her to pay him a huge amount of money as compensation.

Also opening up on how nothing significant has changed foe her in the industry even now, Urfi shared, “I’ve struggled a lot in my career. I am still struggling, I feel. I started my career with Rs 3000 per day. Also, initially, I don’t know why but things were not working in my favour. All the shows I would sign, they would shut down in 3 months time. I don’t think I’ve done shows for more than 3 months and I’ve ended up doing some 10-12 shows”.
When asked that what kept her going strong, Urfi said, “I had only two options either keep struggling or suicide. Till date I’ve no plan B, this is what I know to do. This is my only plan and I’ve never thought about what else I can do. I don’t think I would have been alive if I had not become an actress”.
