These Hollywood Stars Hate Their Iconic Roles

Every actor dreams of working on films or TV shows they love. They want to reach the heart of fans based on every nook and corner through their characters. Even actors do so as well. Big names like Robert Pattinson have fans around the globe.

However, most of the fans adore him for his famous character Edward Cullen. Although very few know that Robert Pattinson hates the character from the Twilight franchise that made him star of Hollywood. No matter how much fans love the actors for their iconic roles still few actors hate their own iconic roles.

Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson is the star of a hugely successful vampire franchise. Although, this isn’t what it’s cracked up to be, according to Pattinson. After playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight, Pattinson revealed that he had people sitting outside his house and, it drove him crazy. Pattinson told NME that he “had people sitting outside my house every single day, and it drove me crazy.”

Pattinson also said, “I didn’t go into a supermarket for about six years. But now I can go in and chat to the guy who’s working there about his kids, or where he’s going on holiday, and not be thinking, ‘Is he gonna sell me out?’ I just don’t have to think about that stuff anymore.”

Daniel Radcliffe
Every 90s kid must be aware of Harry Potter. Daniel Radcliffe had the immense responsibility of bringing to life one of the most iconic characters in literary history. However, Radcliffe once said that his performance in The Half-Blood Prince felt subpar compared to the others.

In an interview with Playboy in 2015, Radcliffe stated that “In every movie up to the sixth one, you can see a big step forward in my acting. And then it stopped, or went backward maybe, in the sixth film.” “I really enjoyed my performance in the fifth part of it was how much I worked with people like Gary Oldman and David Thewlis. On the sixth, I remember watching it and thinking, Wow, there’s been no growth,” he told the outlet.

Harry Potter star went on saying, “You’re watching a mistake you made every day for 11 months that’s the way I saw it. I had the idea that Harry was like a soldier traumatized by war, and as a result of that, he shuts down emotionally. That’s not a bad idea, but it’s not the most interesting thing to watch for two-and-a-half hours.”

Kate Winslet
Kate Winslet would like on the top when it comes to her role as Rose in Titanic. She was only 21 when she landed the character in the timeless film yet she didn’t hold back while critiquing her acting and accent. During an interview with the Telegraph in 2012, she said, “Every single scene, I’m like ‘Really, really? You did it like that?’ Oh my God… Even my American accent, I can’t listen to it. It’s awful.”

Megan Fox
Starring as Mikaela Banes in the first two Transformers franchises may have made Megan Fox a star, but it led to the low point of her career. The actress once compared the director with Hitler and, her Hitler comment got her fired from the franchise. In 2009, during an interview with Wonderland, she said, “He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is! However, her “Hitler” comment got her fired from the franchise and replaced by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
