The award-winning star ed sheeran will be self-isolating. However, he will continue to give planned interviews from his home, as he quarantines and follows government advice. The news comes just hours after it was announced that he will appear on Saturday Night Live next month. Sheeran was reportedly set to join Apple Music’s Zane Lowe next week to discuss his brand-new album and play songs from the same.
The singer took Instagram to reveal this news. He wrote, “Hey, guys. Quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines,” he wrote to his Instagram fans. “It means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in-person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house,” he continued. “Apologies to anyone I’ve let down. Be safe everyone x,” the star concluded.
