New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan got arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3, 2021. SRK’s eldest son got arrested by the central investigating agency after NCB raided a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on October 2. He was arrested along with Arbaaz Seth Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha and others.
Aryan Khan’s bail plea has been rejected by the court a number of times. Finally, his bail was granted by the Bombay High Court on October 28. The Bombay HC has allowed bail to Aryan at a bond of Rs 1 lakh. Along with Aryan, Munmun and Arbaaz have also been granted bail by the High Court. The court has also asked them not to leave Mumbai or India without seeking permission from the NCB investigating officer.
Aryan Khan, who has been lodged at Arthur Road jail, finally walked out of custody after a long wait. His father Shah Rukh Khan’s bodyguard reached Arthur Road jail to pick him up, while SRK is waiting in a five-star hotel nearby to take his son back home. SRK’s residence ‘Mannat’ has also been decorated ahead of Aryan Khan’s release from jail.
Also, a report in ANI reads, “Aryan Khan walks out of Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail few weeks after being arrested in drugs-on-cruise case”.
Also, a report in ANI reads that Aryan Khan’s bail order was received by the jail officials at about 5.30 am in the morning. The report read, “Aryan Khan to walk out of Arthur Road Jail today a few weeks after he was arrested in drugs-on cruise-ship case. Jail officials gathered his bail orders at about 5.30am today from the bail box placed outside the Jail”.
Meanwhile, actress Juhi Chawla signed the surety bond for Aryan Khan and expressed her relief that SRK and Gauri’s son will go back home soon. According to a report of ANI, she said in a statement, “I’m just happy that it’s all over and Aryan Khan will come home very soon. I think it’s a big relief for everybody.”
The court has also ordered Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant to visit the NCB office every Friday between 11am-2pm.
